The price.

Breakfast was powdered eggs, warmed sausage and odd tasting biscuits. The sheets were clean but worn thin. There were a number of areas that had been or should have been fixed. Primarily cosmetic.

This is the Budget option in North Platte. It was significantly cheaper than the other options. Why? Because it's old and tired. I could see that the owners were making attempts to refresh the property (outside painting, etc), but the place is old. The pool area needs a serious refresh. The owners were very kind. Breakfast was 'normal' for an Interstate hotel, kind of blah. On a very positive note, the pool water was clean and WARM, which gets my vote every time. The hot tub was also much appreciated. I would stay here again, for the price and the pool/hot tub.
