Oxford Suites Portland - Jantzen Beach

Clean, room good size for 4 adults

Breakfast ok but not great.

Stayed (again) while in town. EZ check in Room was spacious and clean but a little noisy this go around Free drink at happy hour - Basic beer (1 choice only) or cheap wine or basic mixed drink. Happy hour food was the let down of this visit. The Happy hour choices were slim and the quality / quantity was poor. My suggestion.... do not go with their happy hour food as you will be disappointed.

Staff was pleasant, good rooms, well cared for.

Breakfast was understocked on the weekend.

Oxford suites Portland, my reservation we were supposed to be with our team but we were placed on the first floor and the rest of the was on the 3rd floor and I was charged extra $100.

Clean and great location

The fire alarm went off several times and it was very loud, the breakfast wasn’t as good as last year.

We went for a Volleyball tournament and booked through a group rate. The plus was we were close to the Expo center. The downside was we spent so much for our room. Got placed in their old room (half is renovated). Room was old and dirty. I found a sock under my bed and hair in my shower. They ran out of everything for breakfast, it was a joke. They are very under staffed. It’s in a okay area. But don’t pay too much money for this place.

The location

I recently visited Portland to watch my son’s college baseball game and needed a great pet-friendly hotel—because my granddog Stella was definitely coming along! We chose the Oxford Suites Portland - Jantzen Beach, and it exceeded expectations. From the moment we arrived, Stella was warmly welcomed with her own bandana, treats, and toys—such a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for our stay. The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. One feature I especially appreciated was the fenced grassy area in the parking lot, which made quick dog breaks easy and convenient. I also enjoyed the evening reception—such a nice bonus after a long day. In the morning, Stella and I headed out early to explore the nearby Columbia River waterfront trail Portland. The walk was peaceful, clean, and felt very safe, with beautiful views of Mount Hood in the distance—an unexpected highlight of the trip. This property delivers incredible value for everything it offers. I would absolutely stay here again—and Stella gives it her full approval too!
