Oxford Suites Redding

We have stayed at the Oxford Suites in Redding several times. We travel with our pup and appreciate the reasonable pet fee and goodies. Staff is always friendly and helpful, really, they always go above and beyond when we request something. Clean rooms, fair price, family friendly.

The location was convenient, and it is nice that they offer a free bar drink (I do not drink, though) and complimentary breakfast. The staff were very friendly. The bed was reasonably comfortable.

What I really, seriously hated about this place is the OVER-COMMUNICATION. Guys, I'm spending a night. I'm not your BFF. I got more messages from you in the days and weeks proceeding my stay than I get in my over-active group chat! CALM. DOWN. Confirm my reservation, and then back off, please?? Secondly, the place was NOISY. It was overrun with screaming children, and the rooms simply had no level of sound proofing at all (thin walls?). There were noises all night, from the parking lot, from the pool, from other guest rooms. The AC unit was super-loud. The bathroom was not very clean (hairs from various previous guests kind of mop-shoved into corners). The hard floors were sticky (ew), and the carpet didn't look very clean. There was just no value in the price for a night here.

Amenities were great, happy hour, bar and restaurant, nice pool area and breakfast

We always love Oxford Suites. Especially in Pismo. But the breakfast service here was quite chaotic at 9am compared to Pismo location. A lot of items were running out at 9am and not as nice of a selection. The hot food was good. The “orange juice” was more like a diluted orange drink. The night appetizers and drinks were 5 star. Room comfy as always

Very clean and comfortable room/bed with full breakfast. Friendly and helpful service-oriented staff. Great location for Kool April Nites.

Breakfast was good. The facilities are clean. Good customer service.

Hot tub was not very hot.
