Chicago Marriott Naperville

Room was good and gym too. However upon checkout the hotel reception offered me a reciept via email instead of a paper one. I never recieved it. I have now spent 40 minutes in phone with them and it turned out they never had my email address. And despite spending this time with them, they keep failing in sending me the reciept.

Do not book your wedding blocks or any blocks at this hotel. Your guests will be too polite to point out the atrocities. If you are part of a booked block, go somewhere else. I’m going to start out by asking you to read all the negative reviews because they are 100% on point. The hotel was very crowded. Booked blocks included two HS reunions, two weddings, and umpteen soccer girls. One of the wedding blocks took all the luggage dollies. None to be found at check in. None! However, several dollies were available at checkout. The beds are awful; old mattresses with a bunch of something on top and in between at a feeble attempt to mimic comfort. Housekeeping is beyond horrendous. My room had clumps of hair on the floor under the sink. More hair in the tub. More hair on the bathroom floor and entrance. After the hair was cleaned up by housekeeping, the following day I had hair on the floors again! Gross. They couldn’t change my room. The bed style was sold out. The tub was dated and had permanent dirt on the floor. All in all, rooms need updating. Don’t be fooled by the fancy lobby, which by the way, has terrible acoustics.

Located where there is easy access to west suburban locations, walkable to dining options and there are walking running routes in a nearby forest preserve.
