Chicago Marriott Naperville

Great Venue, We were there for a conference and the location was great. Clean, safe and staff was awesome!

Wonderful accommodations!!

We stayed overnight during our recent trip to Naperville. We were upgraded to a two bed suite on the fifth floor that offered great views of the streets and the surroundings areas nearby. Highlights: -Room was spacious, clean and comfortable -Free car parking -Fast check-in and courteous staff throughout the property -Big lobby with lots of seating and places to relax -Separate area in the lobby with a big TV screen -Business center with couple computers to access internet/printing -Convenient access to interstate If you like running/walking outdoors, there are long stretches of sidewalks on Dhiel road outside the hotel main entrance and if you like fine vegetarian food, A2B restaurant is just 10mins. away in a car. Observations/opportunities: - We only got luke warm water in the bathroom shower(brought this to the attention of the front desk) - Breakfast buffet options are very limited(very ordinary for a full service Marriott property) Overall nice stay. We will return next time we are in the Naperville area.

Clean room, warm and comfortable

So we checked in very late (2am) and the night attendant was running the "finals". He asked us to wait 5 - 7 minutes as the system was locked until it was completed (no apology). About 10 minutes later he re-emerges and picks up the phone and calls a help line. Something happened in the "finals" process and the system was crashed and he was locked out. In the end he checked us in manually, taking a copy of my license and credit card, and had to walk us up to a room to make sure it was actually empty for occupancy. He then apologized, which cooled me down a lot -- all I wanted was an apology for our inconvenience of sitting in a hotel lobby for almost 30 minutes after 2am. I am not blaming him for system problems, but the whole thing made me feel like, "why would I ever return to this hotel?" He offered us water and free snacks, and I appreciated that, but all we wanted to do was *sleep* from a very late flight. I'm sure Marriott won't call and apologize or offer anything, although I would say that when something really nasty happened in a Hilton once we got upgraded to Silver status complimentary and apologized profusely (and no, I didn't throw a fit or pull a Karen, I am always polite, but it takes so little time and money to make guests right when things go *horribly* wrong).

Room was clean and very well done with amenities.

Friendly and professional staff, all shifts, all departments!

Have stayed here many times. It is always nice.
