Country inn Lampasas

Booked a first floor smoking room with two queen beds. I called and spoke with them personally to guarantee a first floor smoking. Arrived only has second floor. Husband unable to walk up steps. They ended up giving us a non-smoking first floor handicap room. As you can see by the pictures nothing about this room is handicap accessible. I also spoke with him to make sure they had a pool outdoors. Will they do but it was under demolition. The supposedly handicap bathroom has a chipped tub that you must step over to enter. There was also hair on the nightstand and in the tub as the photos show. I ran out of space for photos but the ceiling is also warped. Overall pretty disgusting. Had already been driving all day so it was too late to book a different hotel. I almost forgot to mention that there appears to be blood on the wall near the light switch.

The property was in need of so much maintenance, sheets, towels were thread bare and door latch did not work properly. The office was locked early and opened late, they did not even provide complimentary coffee. The floor in the unit was so dirty you had to wear socks. The staff was very pleasant.

This is an old, unkempt property. The curtains were falling off the wall. Our reservation was for two. There was one washcloth and one hand towel. There was food left in the refrigerator. There are cracks around the door, at least a 1/2inch or more. It seems as though there are people that stay there long term. There were bar-b-que grills sitting on the sidewalks. I guess the only thing I can say nice was the price was reasonable (no wonder). My husband is from Lampasas and several years ago this was a nice place. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Refrigerator AND tiny freezer. Spacious. Warm showers

This is my 3rd time going to the same hotel. Great staff, very clean and organized, flexible check in times and overall a well organized business. I will definitely continue to go to them every time I’m in town. Thanks Country Inn!

Not given enough towels . Had to give previous night’s towels to attendant so they could be washed ans given back. 2 people in the room, but only given 1 washcloth. Room attendants were apologetic and tried to help.

Good overnight get away for two.

It was disgusting. Musty smelling, old carpet, no heat lamp in shower, several lights didn’t work. I would sleep in my pickup and shower at a truck stop before I would stay there again.

If you are looking for something affordable to spend one night is good. I didn't have any problems, the staff was great, the room is like those from motel 6 with better beds. Is not that bad!
