Andy was a great host. Everyday at breakfast it was important to connect with Andy and get some ideas for our day's schedule. It was nice to form a trusting bond to start the day off well at a good, solid English breakfast. The hotel had parking because it is hard to find car park for a long stay. The location was perfect because it was a close walk to the Roman site and the boat dock as well as the bus station and the city. It was a friendly place with a very convenient location.

Our host, Andy, was delightful and diligent. The breakfast was generous. The room and facilities clean and comfortable. The location within the town was central and convenient. We are also very pleased that we chose to stay in Ambleside because if its central location in the Lake District. 3 Cambridge Villas has a free parking arrangement with the Ambleside Football Club and is around the corner from the bus stop which connects you with all local towns.

The breakfast was brilliant, and the location was perfect for the town centre, pier and bus station. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
