The Lafayette New Orleans By Kasa Living

We stayed a week. I've never seen a hotel or motel that didn't at least provide a list of nearby places to eat. There was no breakfast, and the desk clerk knew nothing about the area. Maid service was offered once, halfway through our stay. We bagged & carried our trash downstairs and were told to leave it in the lobby. The room was nice, but noisy (the trolley runs all night.) Parking was a couple of blocks away.

The experience of using Kasa was lovely. The hotel is close to the WW2 museum and a short walk gets you to Bourbon street. The trolley stops right by as well. Greta experience from start to finish.

I experienced an unexpected ordeal at The Lafayette hotel when my vehicle was immobilized by a wheel boot despite having paid for the hotel’s parking service. Another guest faced the same frustrating situation with their car in the same parking area. After discovering the boots on our vehicles, we each had to pay $120 to have the devices removed. When we approached the hotel staff for assistance or compensation, we were met with an unhelpful response of “sorry, nothing we can do,” leaving both of us frustrated and out of pocket for what appeared to be an error in the parking enforcement system. The incident highlighted poor communication between the hotel and its parking management, ultimately resulting in paying customers like myself being penalized and receiving no support from the establishment we had chosen to stay with.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

This is as a great place to stay. Lots of places to walk nearby, close to WW2 museum and Bourbon street.

This was a very comfortable place! It has some historical views. Very clean and comfortable place.

Had several issues with the door code not working when I arrived and switching during my stay without notification. The on site staff was attentive and helped come up with a working code at the same time Kasa did. The bathroom looked a little rough. Toilet roll holder was falling off the wall and some of the outlets in the room were not usable. Overall it provided its function and the A/C worked very well.

The hotel looks great and well maintained. It is in the financial district minutes away from the historic center. The room was nice and comfortable.
