Closeness to the cruise piers

The staff were rude and short not just with us, but as well with the couple checking in before us. I had called the day before and inquired about extended parking for cruisers and was given the rates. What the associate failed to tell me was that the offer was not available for the days we were there due to the biker rally. I completely understand that, however had I been told that we would have Ubered to Galveston instead of driving and thinking that we had parking secured. As it turned out, my husband had to drive our vehicle back home and then Uber back to Galveston. A huge inconvenience. Again, understandable, except the clerk at the desk was very rude and like “oh well” about it. She was very rude with a couple that were also having a hard time with the elevator in the lobby. The rates are very high for the area for that kind of treatment. In fact when we cruise again in January… the three couples have just rented a house near the port that will allow us to park our car for the duration of the cruise( no extra charge) and a much nicer facility than your hotel. This is the third time I have stayed with you and this was the most horrible experience. I have also made sure in all the cruise FB groups to NOT recommend you as an option. I’m also sure you couldn’t care less about these surveys… Bobbie Marshall

Desk staff first night wasn't too helpful or pleasant.

B was amazing. She helped us out after a bad experience with another hotel. Would definitely recommend coming here to stay if your cruising. Very convenient location and rooms are very clean. Thanks again B

Super comfy beds

Clean

It was a lot nicer than I expected for an old hotel. Walking distance to the restuarants we had reservations at and the Strand. We could watch the ships coming and going from our room. Close distance to the RCL cruise port. The day of arrival I received a call asking if we wanted to upgrade to a suit for the same price I was going to pay for a rollaway bed. Of course I jumped on it and was so gald I did. We had plenty of room for 2 adults and a 13 yo. Thank you so much!!!!!!

This is our favorite property to stay at now when we cruise out of Galveston. There is nothing we don’t like!
