"Brief, cheery and convenient - at these prices I'd come back."

Staff were welcoming and very obliging (we asked for an extended check-out time which was granted and extended - it really made our stay in Lexington much more convenient and comfortable). The building was basic, but had everything you would want from.a budget hotel - with great additions like the indoor pool. Rooms were spacious enough and the bathrooms were bright and well-thought-out. Breakfast was good, if a little basic and would.have benefitted from some hot items, but the food was pretty good nevertheless. Tables not cleaned as often as they should have been.

Lots of taciturn painters in the building. Road noise from outside.

"Good breakfast, Hire better staff before you have real problems."

The breakfast was a plus.

My original room was dirty, and I immediately asked to be switched while trying to communicate with the man at the receptionist desk he blew me off and said he would have to see for himself. He did eventually switch my room. The next day my key card was spontaneously locked while I was out.

Room was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was basic continental. Coffee was good.

Swimming pool was way too cold for an indoor pool. Did not like the deposit arrangement as it requires that I keep on top of it until reimbursed. Did not like that to get free internet for 7 days required that I become a member of their honors program. Never seen this before in a hotel!!

The beds are really comfortable and the location was great.

When we first checked in we got a room and it was not cleaned. Bedding all over the floor. We went down to let the front desk guy know and when I told him he didn't say anything at all, not sorry or oh no, nothing. Just handed me another key and told me my new room number.
