We had some trouble with our key cards, and were a bit surprised that the receptionist did not ask for ID before reprogramming them. Otherwise it was a reasonable motel stay in a fairly old building.
It was a good stay. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Our mini fridge didn’t work. A few late nighters a little noisy.
This is a very conveniently located property in Rushville. I'm here every year for the 5 in 50. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Excellent value!

Everything was great from check-in throughout. We did not make it to the complimentary breakfast, but McD's was a short drive. Only suggestion would be to change lampshade in room 111, it's in rough shape.
We did not have a great experience the first time we stayed here but I'm usually willing to give a place another chance. The second time wasn't any better. The beds were tiny, and sagging. I could not sleep on them. They were full size beds which made sleeping conditions very tight. I was mistaken and thought they were queen size. The breakfast was ok, there were options but the bread section was covered in fruit flies so we just grabbed some yogurt. I personally think the price should be lower but for a quick overnight stay, at least it didn't have bedbugs. The neighborhood is quiet. There are stores and quick places to eat within a few minutes drive. Staff was pleasant but we will probably just pay the extra $20 and stay at a nicer place next time.
The room and stairwell had an wet animal type smell
The room was not in good shape, cracked sink, pictures that had been removed and damage to the walls not repaired. We were there for three nights and our room was not cleaned, nor were clean towels were supplied. Breakfast was generally luke-warm.
