Rooms were dirty, garbage not emptied. Found a bag of dirty clothes in the room. Phone did not work, TV remote had no batteries. Advertised breakfast times online were not accurate.

I’m not one to usually leave a bad review,but I felt I should this time… Some of the staff was very pleasant. Most of the rooms are used for full timers,they live there. The maid work needs some serious attention. I’ll add photos of the room if this review allows it. This was our second time to have to stay there,it’s the only hotel in town. I gave them a second chance and moments after we checked in,we had to change rooms due to very uncleanliness in many areas including hair on the side of the the bathtub that was easily seen. Thankful the bed was clean,although I can’t describe the smell of the whole place unless you walked past the air wick plug ins that was in the halls. The entrance to the back door stayed freely open 24/7 and required no key card to enter. The lobby entrance and parking lot was literally a place to hang out and drink every evening. We was there for four days and nights as we travel there to visit our grandchildren/children that live near the hotel. Well definitely take the camper for the 9hr drive in the future unless some things change here.
It was more than adequate for what we needed. Very clean and affordable. Just a little dated and smelled of cigarette smoke.
The staff was friendly. The room itself was average cleanliness for bathroom, linens, etc. The air quality was horrible. The room was super humid and smelled like water damage was still present. The aur conditioner couldn't keep up dehumidifying the room. It was late when we arrived, the beds were comfortable enough, and we just needed to get to sleep, so didn't want to bother changing rooms. In the morning, we wished we would have. I don’t know if the whole motel is like this or just the room we had. We saw water damage in the ceiling of our hallway so maybe it was just a problem with our wing. There were several breakfast options, but the hot breakfast items were all gone when we got there at 7:45am.

The staff was nice. I needed a first-floor room because I could not do stairs. However, we were given a room that smelled of nicotine so bad, went to the store and bought a can of Lysol spray. Also, the bedspread was stained, and the chair was too dirty and nasty looking to sit on. The previous stays here when I visit Rushville, I had no problem, but it seems to have gone downhill. If you are desperate, it might be fine, but I won't stay there again.
