Dog next store was left unattended and was barking for over an hour straight

Carol at the front desk was as nice as you can get. She was attentive and helped as best as she could.

When we came into our room it was cloudy, my husband let the front desk know and they sent in the maintenance man. He informed us he had an ozone machine in there due to the people before us smoking in there. The smell was unbearable and he offered to bring us a fan. He did bring us a fan however it was missing a blade so it also didn’t work properly. He said the window couldn’t be opened and it was silver foil taped shut. We decided to leave the room and go eat dinner. Upon returning the odor was still there but the fog had dissipated. As we unpacked and were in the room longer I began to feel light headed and unable to focus. My daughter began to have issues with respirations and pain in her chest area. I looked up what an ozone machine does and found that during use it creates toxic fumes that people should not be exposed too. We were told that the ozone machine was removed from the room at 530 and we checked in at 730. We also learned that the area should be ventilated for 2-4 hours after use before anyone re enters the room. There is no way the room could ventilate as the window does NOT open. Due to there being fog present I am certain there was not correct ventilation. I requested a refund and carol tried to help but she stated that I had to call Booking. I was on the phone with Elijah from booking for 30 minutes. He contacted the property and they verified my concerns and he still required me to call back tomorrow to finalize the refund. I packed my family up at 10 pm the night before my son’s track meet and we went to a different hotel due to the wildwood not having other rooms. I will never book through booking again and I highly suggest not staying at the wild wood. We were excited but just about anything that could go wrong did. I hope they make it right and we get a refund and luckily none of us needed emergency medical attention.
