GBI loved my stay here, the room was great, very spacious and the location very good if you want to be by the beach, less than ten minutes walk. The family were so friendly and even invited me for dinner with them which I thought was very kind, they also made breakfast every morning downstairs which was lovely. The communication was good via WhatsApp, just a language barrier in person but that is not their fault and nothing that Google translate can't help with! If you are going out in the evenings just ask them to show you how to open the front gate as I thought I was locked out, also you can easily take a grab to the centre which was very handy in the evenings. They also did my laundry for me which was great and were always so helpful if I needed anything! Would book again :)
Not a major thing and It's personal preference really, but for me the bed was quite hard as I like a softer mattress!

AUThe couple was so cute and friendly we really felt welcome. The breakfast was really good and they were flexible with the times. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Just 5 minutes away from the beach.

Communication was all through WhatsApp and translate as spoken English was poor but it didn't diminish anything. They were still very accommodating.

BEPerfect location near the beach strong internet,every day,different breakfast,small pool,free bikes to go center,very nice owner(only daughter speak English) nice garden trees and flowers.
Cold water in the shower,hard bed(for me ok,my wife is not),tiny ants in the room,small space(good for 1 or max 2 persons) but good value for money
DEIt was our first homestay and we really felt being welcome in the host family's home. Very nice people, always ready to help and to communicate, and if there was a language problem, google helped or their daughter on the phone. They invited us (and the other guests) for dinner, which was very good. The location was perfect for us. The closest beach is just 100m apart, for a quick swim. A little bit further, maybe 3-400m was another beach with a restaurand, bar, and sunbeds and umbrellas. (Btw., there was the "hidden tailor", where we bought tailor-made clothes, which were done perfeclty, rather low cost, and over night.) It is about 4km out of the center of Hoi An; a distance which we liked to go on the bikes the family provided in sufficient number. Riding through the rice fields and then a quick swim in the ocean or pool of the house at a welcoming family -- nothing more to wish! Besides, they really love to care for their plants and garden and it was a pleasure to watch them in action.
