Glasney Rooms - Student Accommodation

no wifi. no access to fridge kitchen lounge spaces. reception staff not trained for and not provided with info for any guest support for other than basic check-in/check-out. electrical sockets in room very difficult to reach. no covered outdoor social spaces. public transport to/from falmouth frequent but required phone app.

Student rooms. No tea or coffee. Shower overflowed if left on for more than a minute. Lots of banging of doors and noise at night. Not that great overall and would only use again if desperate.

Extremely expensive for what you get. This should be advertised as student halls of residence and not an apartment. It was uncomfortable and noisy; there was a picnic table located by the entrance which people used until gone 1am and there was heavy thudding from doors and footsteps. The shower was clogged and The most disappointing thing was that there was not even a kettle!

Very good location, Very good location, easy to find, relatively clean, very enthusiastic service. It will be a good place for my next trip to Cornwall. Thank for all.!

I now understand why so many undergraduates suffer mental illness and drop out of university. The room is small, the bathroom a badly designed cupboard, there is nothing in the room except the bed (which flips over into a desk), a chair and small storage spaces. You can hear everything above, next door, and from the bathroom. There's a 5 minute walk to the canteen where you the choice of 5 components of a cooked breakfast (1 rasher, 1 sausage, 1 spoonful of beans...). The coffee was disgusting, the 'juice' dishwater, the toast plastic. Honestly, for the money there are much better options available. Feel sorry for the students who will be forking out £4k for this rabbit caging!

We stated there for two nights. The receptionist, room facilities, kitchen and the breakfast were good. It took us minimum 5 minutes to go to car park from the room. There were parking bays infront of the room and we were told those bays are not for us. Apart from that it was a good stay with good food.

The good: breakfast was good, the staff at breakfast and check-in were friendly, the room was clean and there was free parking. The bad: the room was hot so we had to keep the window open right next to a noisey road. The bed was uncomfortable with a lack of support in the middle so you roll into one another during the night. It was student accomodation at £90 a night with no TV in the room so it wasn't especially cheap. There's a bus to Falmouth, but that was also a bit pricey, and Falmouth didn't seem to be the nicest of destinations.

The accommodation was very basic, there was very little by way of sound proofing from neighbouring rooms!!...The shower flooded ever time it was used....I’m told this is s known problem...some plug unblocker would probably do the trick!....The mattress was very thin and pillows pointless and the view of a retaining was was rather disappointing!!!!....it was a long slog to breakfast....that said, it was worth it as this was the highlight of the stay, the staff in the restaurant worked really hard to put on an excellent spread.....This is student accommodation and you get what’s on the tin!!
