Hillsboro Beach Resort By Kasa

My husband and I really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The room was clean, comfortable and had a nice view. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great with a private beach with chairs, umbrellas and toys. We enjoyed eating outside on the open patio taking in the ocean view. it was a really great value for the price. We will definitely stay here again or at another Kasa resort.

We had a great time at this resort. Right on the beach! Couldn't be a better location. Breakfast was included.

Breakfast was a nice addition to the day.Valet service was quick and friendly.

More beach chairs and more umbrellas. Valet service was an unexpected expense.

The view of the sea was really very nice; the same with the beach, right there 'at the garden door'. Breakfast is, perhaps, one of the things you should improve on. There was very little fruit; there were no cold cuts or cheeses.

When I booked the room, I did not understand - or perhaps, it was not that clear - that I had to pay a fee for cleaning service. This is something you should improve on

This was my second stay here, and I honestly think it’s one of the best values for money in all of South Florida. It’s not the fanciest or most over-the-top place, but the rooms are very spacious, consistently clean, and if you book an ocean-view room, the view is absolutely incredible. It's right on the (gorgeous) beach. The staff is also genuinely kind and helpful. The hotel is a little ways away (~8 min drive, ~30 min beach walk) from the downtown area, of Deerfield - as a result the beach feels very private. I recommend taking advantage of the free shuttle (operated by the town of Hillsboro) that runs on tips Even though the hotel uses phone-based room locks and you don’t have to stop by the lobby, it’s worth it as they put out water, coffee, and other helpful supplies. They’ve also recently added a continental breakfast in the morning (beachside), which is a nice bonus. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, beachfront stay with great value and friendly staff, this place is hard to beat.

The room could have used an extra lamp. I provided this feedback directly to management so hopefully it gets changed soon. Overall not a big deal.

Nothing, we were not allowed to stay despite booking well in advance.

We booked this hotel prior to a management takeover. We received an email informing us the management takeover would happen and booking would remain, nothing to worry about. We arrive after a 4 hour drive with 3 young kids to be told we don't have any booking. After showing all the evidence of a booking including payment, confirmation and reassurance it carrys on after new management. We were essentially told we had to book again for the room they had available. I'm in the hole for £117 already for this booking and now they want me to cough up another £280 for the same booking again. Absolute jokers. New management are a scam. Any honest business person would just honor the existing booking but no, this lot wanted 3 times the amount given we had no options. Well we left and found somewhere else. I'm not giving my money to people who think they can hold me hostage. Refund requested for the original amount. Still not settled with booking. Com who are extremely slow.

Overall the property is nice. However, I'm rating this hotel on the quality of sleeping in our room - specifically room 211. Although the bed and pillows were comfortable, too much light is let in around the curtains. Also, there is no soundproofing; we heard everything going on outside of our room. But the worst was the sound of water running through a wall. We believe it was the sound of every toilet flushing from the floors above us. We came to this hotel on NYE so we wouldn't have to drive home. So basically, we came just to sleep and we didn't get much of that.
