Aberdeen Douglas Hotel

Kamer en badkamer waren groot. Fijne douche. Goed ontbijt. Personeel bij de receptie was erg aardig en behulpzaam. Je kan een paraplu lenen.

Raam in kamer zat op een onhandige plek. Het eenpersoonsbed had een kuil. Het grote bed was prima.

Bathrooms are always big and modernised. The rates are reasonable for the rooms.

Breakfast leaves much to be desired. I'm not sure how but someone managed to overcook scrambled eggs on the inside but undercook on the outside. Top floor temperatures are insane. Very uncomfortable and forces you to open the windows. Unfortunately this also lets in a fair bit of boat/bird/drunk noise from outside.

Rooms were very clean. Staff were very helpful and very courteous. We didn't use the restaurant, but we sat in the lobby for several hours which was very good. The hotel is near a couple of coffee shops and an old part of the city. Much was closed since it was Sunday, but fun to walk around.

Hotel is on the old side and although it has been updated, there are still issues with floorboards being warped. So, bathroom door wouldn't close; uneveness of floors. Rooms are small. The window looks out into a central airspace of the building where garbage can collect.

Good location. Enjoyed the restaurant.
