Aberdeen Douglas Hotel

Location was well situated for what we came to do.The restaurant was very convenient and suited our needs. The breakfast selection was good as was the service. However the sausages and haggis were not to our taste.

The bathroom shower was difficult to use. Grab rails were needed and a bath mat. There was no literature in the room ie regarding room service or local attractions.How to contact reception. No decaf tea or coffee sachets.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Die zentrale Lage machte die Anfahrt mit dem Auto etwas schwierig, weil man die Straße vorm Hotel nur halb befahren darf, dann muss man mitten auf der Straße einen U-Turn machen um die Koffer ausladen zu können und dann muss man wieder zweimal ums Eck zu einem Parkplatz.

It’s in city center which is walking distance to everything you would need but we didn’t like the location as there were a lot of street people.

Poor facilities. We ended up staying in a one bedroom apartment. It’s not like the pictures at all. The tub couldn’t be used there was no streaming on the TV. We couldn’t get the feather pillows switched for non feather. The washing machine is advertised as a washer/ dryer.. it’s just a washer.

This place was beyond expectations, the price for the apartment was a bargain and with size of the apartment was much more than expected, it was immaculate, spacious and great location. Staff were very helpful. I can't fault a single things and will definitely be using this again when in aberdeen.
