The 41 Lakefront hotel has a great location, right on Seneca Lake, and the view from the rooms is impressive. There's a nice park along the lakeside and downtown Geneva is a short walk away. The hotel restaurant was good, as was the room. The one drawback was a broken elevator (out of two total) but this was actively being repaired during our stay and no doubt will soon be back in service.

It’s in a great location and has a lot of potential. Rooms are being modernized and staff was very friendly. I had mildew in my shower and my car was broken into during the night. Hotel has no cameras facing parking area. Two elevators. One has been broken for a long time it seems. Room was clean other than shower. My sheets smelled like stale bleach. I think they are trying just not quite there yet. Definitely need more security cameras.

Great hotel on the water. One elevator broken and the working elevator was a bit iffy. Great place to visit the finger lakes Beautiful views of the lake from back patio of the hotel. We had breakfast and drinks at night and watched the beautiful view of the water and the sunrise and sunset. Close to downtown with plenty of restaurants and bars. We drove to the different lakes. Very central.

We liked the lakefront view room and the staff were very nice. We were extremely disappointed that the property did not have an indoor pool as advertised on the website.

As other reviews noted: great location. If I was rating on location - I’d give a 5. However some other factors = 3 so a 4 was average. Walkable to downtown and lakefront. We traveled with our dog & we were in a ground floor lakefront room which was perfect as there was a door to go outside (small patio). Just fyi - door locks when it closes, so prop it open. I checked the room for cleanliness prior to settling in as other reviews said some rooms were not clean. All good on our room. Shower was good. (Not pristine though), bed comfortable & very quiet (that was good as we had our dog). Could not hear folks in hallway or other rooms. Price - we went Sunday- Tuesday. Price was good (around $160/night) - we booked on Expedia vs hotel reservations which were not local & gave misleading information. I tried calling hotel directly (I wanted to ask about cost for our dog) and all lines were busy or voicemail boxes were full. In frustration, I called Geneva chamber of commerce for assistance ( they were really nice). Note: price for room went up to $350-$450 /night on weekends. This is NOT a $400/ night hotel. Other reviews noted 1 of 2 elevators broken at least a year. We were on the 1st floor, so no issue. Good news - we saw folks working on the elevator when we were there. Also - very small indoor pool. Outdoor garbage can overflowing by our patio. I informed front desk when checking out. They seemed receptive to comment. It’s a small thing, but when sitting on a lounge chair looking at the lake, I don’t want to see beer cans strewn on the ground.

Beautiful lake view and nice accommodations

Corners of shower, outside of windows in room, and under the toilet seat was all gross. Elevator was sketchy. For being right on the Lake and about 40% higher price than a Holiday Inn Express, I expected FAR better quality. Staff was amazing tho, but the general manager needs to enforce better cleaning.

The hotel has potential but it’s lacking in a few things. The front desk staff were great! The hotels appearance in the lobby is lacking. The elevators are SCARY! One is under construction and the other makes you feel like it’s your last ride. The hallways were fine but the room it’s self felt dirty and dated. The beds were practically on the floor and the mattresses are terrible full sized boxes. The bather lacked amenities that are basic and included in other chains like Hilton.
