The pricing of the room.

Room peephole was tissue paper. Shower door can't keep water in - trash design for the shower. Not very clean room. Having work done right below my room from 10:30 am all the way up until around 3pm and then off and on up until 7pm. The tissue box area is all rusted to hell and the tissue have a weird smell. Over all if it wasn't for the price, I would have left.

This is the worst hotel I ever experienced. The entire place cover in weed smell, marijuana,pod heads sit around outside smoking, extremely dirty carpet and stink. I had to book a different hotel to stay that night after 30 mins check in because I didn't feel safe and I had a bad headache because of smelling that weed smell.

The location was great for my needs

When we arrived at the hotel, we noticed a group of men sitting outside, speaking loudly and behaving inappropriately. It was obvious they were inebriated. While we initially hoped they were not guests of the property, we were shocked to find that the situation inside the hotel was the same—or worse. There were more intoxicated men in the lobby and throughout the first floor. We could hear them from upstairs. We asked the concierge (Dan) twice about the situation, but he ignored our questions and pretended not to hear us. He appeared clearly annoyed, though it was unclear whether that was directed at us or the situation. When he handed us our room keys, I firmly asked whether we’d be able to get any rest given the chaos on the first floor. He dismissively responded that our room was at the end of the hall, and when he added “they’re construction workers” as if it excused the behavior, my boyfriend replied, “So am I”—pointing out that being in construction is no excuse for disrespectful, disruptive behavior. The property was in terrible condition. The entire hotel had a strong moldy odor. There was spit on the elevator floor, and once inside our room, we quickly realized it was not clean. There were roaches everywhere—my boyfriend even took a video. Despite this, the front desk pretended this was the first they’d heard of the issue, though a quick check of the reviews revealed that roaches are a common complaint and clearly a long-standing problem. Throughout the night, we barely slept. Loud laughter, shouting, banging on the walls, and what sounded like people running back and forth in the hallway continued until late. It was completely unacceptable. We chose to leave after just one night and booked a different hotel for the remainder of our stay, despite already having paid. It simply wasn’t worth staying another night in such disgusting and chaotic conditions.

The hotel was in a great location and the price was right. The free breakfast was good. I was glad to see the hotel was renovating the rooms.

I found a dead cockroach in my room. However, it is Florida and they are everywhere.
