Red Roof Inn Columbus - Taylorsville

Sink and shower head detached from wall. Dim lights, thin walls, could hear neighbors, ect

We got in late had to leave early but the front desk lady was nice. Had juice and coffee ready. Our room was clean

Not bad for the price. Comfortable and hot shower. Stains on blanket, sink missing stopper.

Allowed us to check in a bit early on a positive note. The bad: bed was hard as a rock pillows weren't soft. Could not sleep at all. Tub was dirty. Old Sundae left in fridge. The worst: Check out was supposed to beb11am. They knocked on door at 10am and tokd us to check out.

I forgot something, I came back one week later and they bring me my stuffs. The staff is amazing.

Room was clean and overall a very good stay. We were out right by stairs, downstairs and the people above us seemed to love going up and down the stairs all night but once we were asleep it wasn’t that bad. I would def stay here again. The staff was amazing and super friendly and helpful.

As always, we love Red Roof's pet friendly policies and the affordable pricing. But that comes with a cost. This property was very beat and the check-in staff was not friendly. There was some kind of insect in our bathroom. The door didn't fit the door frame very well (you could see a sliver of light from the outside where it should have been sealed). Still, for a short stopover on a long trip it was perfectly fine. Linens were clean. We didn't expect the Waldorf Astoria, and we didn't get it.

The price and rooms were good.

The receptionist was rude and not helpful at all. The rooms were dirty, sheets were stained, bathrooms were falling apart and floors hadn’t been vacuumed in what looked like a month. We stayed 2 nights and when we came back on the 2nd day, one of our rooms was still open from when housekeeping game through. Nothing seemed to be missing, but the fact that they couldn’t shut the door was disturbing. We also had to go have the desk reprogram our keys because when we came back, none of our keys worked. Luckily housekeeping left one of our rooms door open so we could at least set our stuff down while I waited for the girl at the front desk to finish microwaving her lunch before she would walk back over to the desk and help me with my keys.

The bed was made with blood stains clearly visible on the sheets. The room was non smoking but the bed covers had cigarette holes throughout. (I have pictures if needed.) Unknown Substances were on each surface of each table and at the bottoms of the cabinetry. The heat was on when we entered and worked well which is very important on a cold day.
