B&B Hotel Reims Centre Erlon

Good location - right next to train station and city centre. Very quiet due to double glazed windows. Bed was not very comfortable as the mattress was not normal thickness. Room was basic as no fridge and shower was minimal size.

I have just returned from a nine night driving tour around France which included 4 Ibis Hotels and I was very happy with all of them. Ibis manage to maintain a consistently good standard. The room at Reims Ibis was adequate although I wouldn't have wanted the bathroom to have been any smaller. Compact is probably the word! Unusually, the waste bin in the bathroom had not been emptied. The bedroom itself was spotlessly clean. Our room overlooked the railway station which was a plus for me, but the double glazing was so good that we never heard a sound. There was also adequate parking immediately behind the hotel which was very reasonably priced. Breakfast at an Ibis is always fairly good with a very good range of food which was immediately topped up by attentive and polite staff. Taking into consideration the amount that we paid, our stay was very good value for a hotel situated so close the the centre of Reims.

We stayed at this hotel on our way to the South of France and also on our way home to Scotland. We had our two dogs with us, we found the staff to be very helpful and friendly towards us and our dogs. The Hotel is very central and ideal for shopping, site seeing and even walking the dogs.

Was pleasantly surprised. Hotel looked like it had been refurbished recently. Very stylish room with a very nice shower..clean and roomy. The bed mattress was a little thin though..my only complaint. Breakfast buffet was very nicely done. Very short walk to train station and restaurants.

Reception very helpful. Room comfortable though bathroom very small. No instructions about bathroom heater which was turned on accidently - were not told until phone call to reception that it turns off automatically afer 15 minutes! Excellent breakfast.

This hotel is undergoing renovation. This meant that the room was unbearably hot as when I spoke to the helpful staff it was known that the air con/ heating had been down for several days. I do not expect to book a hotel in this situation. Particularly as it is next to the railway station. Thus opening a window from 7 am was noisy. En route back to the UK after a long drive meant it was impossible to sleep. The staff- who were very good -said we could change rooms. Frankly exhaustion was too much. This is a very basic hotel. Fine but I have never been in a bathroom so small. Would I book again. No. Others may for the location.

Good budget hotel close to the train station. In close walking distance to the cathedral. One of the better budget hotels we have stayed in.

This was a great place to stay - huge car park behind the property (discounted for Ibis users), easy walk to the wide streets of Reims, the Christmas Markets (one of the best that we have seen with the added bonus of the backdrop of the Cathedral) and the tram service. Took a day trip to Epernay (very quiet but it is a box ticked) which was discounted by the region on the Saturday of travel (one for the price of three!). Our only reservation in respect of the "safe" brand of Ibis was that the room (a double) was a little smaller than we have seen before - hopefully not a trend of trying to squeeze more space into a property than comfort dictates - the en suite particularly!
