Gooderson Dumazulu Lodge & Traditional Village

The sheets were dirty...the buffet aas too expensive at R300 pp for carrots, beans, chicken curry, beef option(which we dont eat) and a tomato pasta and some salads. Staff were fine but Gooderson needs to do more.

Food good value for money. Staff friendly and helpful. Road is not in a good state especially after the rain.

The staff were exceptional. Bhekie the maintenance gentleman is such a wonderful person. He ensured that we had what we needed during our stay. Reception and restaurant staff were also so accommodating. Wish the restaurant catered single meals as some of us don't have big appetite. I requested for a portion of dessert and was told R150 per person for peppermint tart and fruit salard. Overall the facility had a lovely facilities and was a very relaxing stay

self catering units ill equipped. No plates no dish clothes generally kitchen was in bad shape. There was lots of rain. You could do better in the parking area maybe put gravel so the water doesnt pool everywhere. Too many gheckos guests were not happy. Cameras didnt work so we had to constantly call the office to open the gate

The service was poor on our arrival but the receptionist was very welcoming she assisted us in a way she can.We booked for a double and 2 beds rooms only to be given 2 doubles .We were 3 females and 1 gentlemen we ladies ha to share 1 bedroom.Both fridges on the rooms were not working but they ended up providing us with another fridge taken from the storeroom .I can recommend this place to someone who wants to connect with nature and take a break from technology. Also budget wisely so that you can afford to view reptiles on site and book traditional dancers for entertainment .They only serve buffet meals I will recommend that if you are coming from far please bring refreshments and a small meal so that you can relax after a long drive.We had to cut our stay and we got our refund

Although you advertise that you have a restaurant there was no choice when it came to dinner. It was an extremely limited buffet.
