Just amazing

I made plans for a quick family staycation We have water park season passes and stayed this past weekend. Everything was perfect from the pool to the room to the staff We rented a golf cart to drive around the island which was fun and easy

The entire staff was very professional and the grounds are simply breathtaking and well kept!

I was surprised when we arrived that the lobby was so hot. I know they are getting new A/C but they also had a dining room closed which meant there was just one dining room. It was also hot and the staff was overwhelmed. The food was good though and our waitress was great-just very slow service. The pool was heated which is not needed in 90 degrees so the pool wasn’t as “refreshing” as it could have been and there was not enough shade. Our room was cool and nice but the roach on the carpet was not a good sight to see when we woke up. At checkout we had discrepancies in our bill. It’s a shame that the restaurant added a tip when we purchased drinks without us knowing. They wouldn’t do anything for us except refund the “resort fee” (which we knew nothing about anyway) because we booked through Expedia. I had been to this resort several years ago and the service and quality is definitely not the same. 😢

Excellent property. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms were pin drop quite. They valet you to the LandShark restaurant and the trolly goes to the other areas. Save your money and book an excellent experience at Legacy Lodge at Lake Lanier.

I booked this hotel bc my son was getting married close by. I had to get up at 4:30 am for a rehearsal and I went to take a shower and there wasn’t any hot water. I called the front desk and they informed me that I would need to run the water to 20 min to get Luke warm water. I was in shock! I went to run the water and ran it for 20 min and probably filled 4 bath tubs with water. In a time when water is becoming more scarce it’s atrocious that every room wastes that much water. My kids were staying in two other rooms and they had the same issue. The furniture is extremely worn and damaged. No full length mirror. When I had the valet bring my luggage in I had three gowns I needed to hang and there wasn’t a closet with a hanging rod. He told me I could hang them on the shower curtain rod. Yes I want to hang my gowns in the bathroom where people go to the bathroom in there. What was supposed to be a special weekend was tainted by the horrible accommodations. The lobby and the grounds are beautiful now the rooms need to be as well. Do not stay here if you want warm showers!

This trip one was of our best getaways!! Everything was phenomenal!! We absolutely will be returning for another stay, this time a longer stay. We LOVED IT & we had a really FANTASTIC TIME!!
