Days Inn by Wyndham Ormond Beach

Honestly, this was not my worst experience but I was definitely not happy, due to arriving at midnight, my family and I were exhausted from driving nearly 12 hours to arrive to someone in the room we are supposed to check into. We had to return to the front desk to inform them and they were shocked stating no one should be in there. Finally, arriving to a room expecting to rest peacefully for the night… However, we were greeted with gnats, damp sheets, room smelled of mildew, cleanliness looked as if they rushed through it just to check it off, not sweeping under the beds where old food bones and hair wads were calling home. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but unfortunately this would not be a return stay for us.

Nothing. The worst place I ever stayed in.

This is motel from hell. We checked in around midnight, no high expectations, just a roof, bed, shower and light breakfast. 1) Room had no pillows. I went to the reception and was told to grab them from another room. No problem, they gave me the key. As I opened presumably empty room, it turned out to be occupied (!!!!!) I got out faster than I could blink. Effectively, stuff's slopiness put me in real danger, as FL is a very gun friendly state. 2) Next we noticed that there were no towels either. We had our own and decided to use them & deal with everything after the shower since we just drove over 600 miles. 3) bathroom was crawling with drain flies. We ignored them. It was after 1am by then... 4) Water was not draining fast enough and 2 showers later it was all the way to the top of the bathtub. 5) We stopped by vending machine on the way to reception and it took our money and didn't give the purchased item. It's 2am, room is uninhabitable. At this point, we are laughing. 6) Located an empty room and demanded to change. Receptionist provided the keys without checking for occupancy (!!!!). 7) The new room didn't have hot water. But it did have burnn marks on the blankets, water damage on the floor, missing trash cans and 1 outlet behind the fridge. As well as pillows and no flies, so I guess it was an improvement. Through this whole ordeal, including check out, we were never offered an apology or any acknowledgement that any of out mishaps were not okey. This place needs to be torn down and the ground it was standing on needs to be salted. The worst motel experience in my life.

It was dirty and dangerous

place had mold in bottom floor rooms, there was a funky smell in the 3rd & 4 th room they put me in and floors were sticky, walls were damaged, no shades on lights, tv had 4 remotes and none of them worked.......this was the worst 16 hrs in my life and just hoping I do not get sick from breathing the air.......this place is a health hazard for anybody staying there and shoukd be shut dowm and remodeled

Staff was ok. I was charged twice. Then told it could take a while for $ to show up in my account. Room smelled moldy and musty. Took pictures stains on bedding, floors, dirty, holes in walls, bathroom door warped and it looked like someone tried to break into it at one time

It needs repair the floor feel like it was going to pull you. The bathroom were not safe.the odor in every room was terrible. The floors were dirty never no one came to clean. We were all together 6 rooms and we had to keep going to the lobby to change trooms because it was terrible The front desk was the only good in the hotel

My reservation was for 4, the room had only one towel. Not enough outlets in the room. The toilet was dirty. Saw cockcroaches and the room had a weird smell.

I had to switch two separate rooms in the one day that I actually stayed here. The first room had cigarette burns all over the comforters and a horrible smell in the room that smelled like mold. The second room was a little better there wasn’t a smell but there was a bunch of small flies everywhere that even the fly traps that I bought didn’t get them all. I was originally booked for the week only stayed one night before I decided it was too much for me. Never again.
