"I wish I didn’t book through booking.com and booked a different hotel."

Comfortable beds and many amenities in the hotel. The location is really good with views of the water.

The rating system used by booking.com is misleading and I’m questioning if the hotel is tampering with the reviews and rates, or paying booking.com to do it. I’ll start out by saying that the only thing that saved the states from being dissapointing, is the location of the hotel. The page on booking.com for this property is misleading. At least for the rooms or building I stayed at. I booked a king room, and for some reason got a standard room with two full beds. Which is absolutely unacceptable and has been a repeating pattern with booking.com. Next, the star rating for the hotel says 4 stars on booking.com and this is a lie and misleading. There is construction going on everywhere, balconies missing railings, mouse traps, old fixtures and broken fixtures. Sure the lobby is elegant and the pool and hot tub area is a nice touch, but visitors would spend at most, 20% if not less of their time using these amenities given where they are. The stay itself was not entirely dissapointing but the process of booking through “booking.com” has continued to dissapoint time and time again.

We loved everything about the hotel except the breakfast. The coffee was make your own with a machine and the croissants were very basic. We expected a choice of muffins and maybe some danish pastries. I think this was disappointing and the presentation was poor. I think the hotel could do much better.
