Quality Inn Pell City I-20 exit 158

Waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check us in. The worker was rude and acted like he was bothered by us. Signs were posted that they were remodeling but it didn’t seem like the hotel should be open with how bad it was. The “ground floor” was basically a basement. It smelled horrendous, like burnt rubber. There was no room numbers on the wall just papers taped to the top of the doors with number on them. The inside of the room was not terrible but not clean in the slightest. Hair balls all over the floor. The window was a medium sized basement window that was on the ground to the outside. The curtains were ripped and stained. The thicker curtain didn’t close so anyone could see inside as there was no way to close the curtain. We felt very unsafe and uncomfortable. Immediately booked with a different hotel. Please save yourself the money and don’t book here.

At first glance, the room looked wonderful. But, when I looked closer, cleanliness was a bit of a problem. Hair, not mine, and dirt on the floor. A moldy shower curtain. One of the sparsest continental breakfasts that I’ve ever seen.

I never ever been in such a horrible place in my life. I sure will never go into another quality inn in-my life. Dirty, no towels or soap , toilet bowl did not work, no hot water in the early AM , Breakfast NON etc. And I was charged twice for one room which may be Expedia fault. I had nothing but problems with Expedia there’s another company I will never use.

My bath flooded from ceiling leak. Advised front desk for another room, was denied unless I paid for second room. Asked to use a bathroom, also denied! Asked for refund and was only given 30%. Have filed complaint with their Corporate Office. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

Very friendly staff . I have stayed at the Pell City location several times The same gentleman housekeeper is very helpful . He goes out of his way to assist .

They made us pay a deposit for smoking we don’t and the romm and hall way smelled like smoke. The bath tub had pubic hairs in it. Why the deposit? The towels were damp

Stood at the desk for 15 minutes when I was trying to check in. I am not a fan of the $50 deposit without being told in advance. I stayed at a different hotel my final night in Alabama and no deposit. It was cheaper and a much better room as well. went to breakfast and no spoons for cereal, and I was there early. My big issues is that for nearly $100 for this room, I expected MUCH better. I had a $60 room my final night that blew this one away. Not even close, in fact.

I normally don't complain. However this time I will. My husband and I travel and stay at many Quality Inn. This is my 1st complaint. It was not clean. The toilet paper was empty. There was another new roll on the back of the toilet. The toilet was dirty. When I raised the lid. Urine and hair. We had traveled all day and tired so I cleaned it before using the toilet. Lots of dust. The 1st room they put is in had no towels and wasn't clean so my husband told them and they put us in this room. Room #209
