Brathay Hall - Brathay Trust

Comfortable bed and fairly spacious. Great location for visiting the Lakes.

Difficult to find rooms (not very clear directions or signage once at Brathay Hall). The room felt a little tired and dated, perhaps not the best value for money (especially with a pet).

Nice location, just outside Ambleside, quiet, good facilities for overnight stay, comfortable bed,

Walls were thin between lodges

The lodge was very nice and dog friendly included in the price

Main issue is with the listing and photos, we booked the lodge but it was impossible to tell from the photos what pictures belonged with what type of booking so it was a bit of a gamble. Also the hot water supply was limited and couldn't handle 2 people showering in the evening
