Location, view, quiet and room.

The property was really beautiful and had amazing views over the lake. The room we had was exceptionally clean and the bed was really comfy. Also, the little surprise ‘pack’ for our dog was a really lovely touch. Close to Ambleside (15 minute walk but in peak times, a bus runs through the village too) and a great point to start climbing Loughrigg Fell! Overall, loved our stay.

Comfortable spacious room . Fantastic views. Parking. Selection of fruit teas and hot chocolate sachets on hospitality tray as well as normal teas a d coffee, and a fridge in the room.

Nothing. We initially thought the beds were rather narrow but they were comfortable and we both slept well. Shower cubicle looked small but good shower and it wasn't an issue. To avoid any potential issues, suggest drawing attention to no lift in main hall and number of stairs, especially steeper set to 2nd floor. Then anyone for whom this was an issue could book elsewhere on the site.

The staff, location, long walks, gardens and the views. Also, the lady at the reception, Britanny and the lady who came to clean our rooms outside the office hours. Apologies, I could not catch her name. The most favourable point for this property is there excellent staff, who really tries their best to ensure a very comfortable stay.

Nothing as such, which was promised but not delivered. But, it would be really great if dining facilities can be created as a future plan.
