The Bristol Hotel San Diego

* Wifi is extremely slow. I can barely download anything bigger than 10MB. * No room cleaning. * Not responsive/flexible to my requests to change the check-in date.

Near to the gaslamp quarter, well connected, room practical

No additional services whatsoever, fridge was empty when I arrived and no water bottles available including reception. First floor in construction and no notice. Surroundings not safe at night. WiFi stopped working on second day.

Good location, comfy bed, wifi worked well, good shower, heat/AC worked well, helpful reception staff, nice coffee machine in the lobby

Room layout was odd - couch facing the bed with TV behind it; some of the gym cardio equipment was not working

A surprisingly excellent experience. I had booked online without seeing the hotel. Rooms are attractively furnished. Bed is very comfortable. Staff is incredibly friendly. Will stay again if I'm in the area.

the staff were very nice, I had to change from another hotel that was so overhyped and catastrophic ( the Westgate hotel) to this hotel (that is in the same street by the way), because the other one, the luxury was only outside in the hall area, but the rooms themselves were so old, smelling old, the coffee machine was so dirty, the staff not friendly, and trying to overcharge people for anything, i had an overcharge of 300 euros, they took 1600 euros from my account!! their reason was that the room prices increased!! which is scaming!!, they were trying to take blindlly different amount of money from my account, plus they control the feedback on booking and they keep only the good ones which also is a fraud! I had to come to my new hotel's feedback section to make a feedback about them! and share my experience, my stay was normally for 12 nights, i had to change it after 5 nights only to this hotel (Bristol Hotel) that was 100 times better! the same location, more property, staff, coffee, cheaper, etc... it's a horror this westagate hotel, they are really scaming people and not friendly at all, i'll attach a picture of how they were blindly trying to take different money amounts from my account!! plus the coffee machine that was so dirty with this overhyped Westgate hotel in comparison to this hotel that is 100 times better in everything!!!
