"The Terrible No Good Very Bad Weekend"

I stayed at the DoubleTree hotel from August 29th to the 31st. We tried using the jacuzzi however there were brown bubbles even after we had housekeeping come by and clean the tub, dark brown flakes were coming out of the jets. I spoke with someone Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I finally got in touch with a manager on Tuesday, I was told I was getting a partial refund and that I would be emailed a receipt and would be receiving the refund by today but I have not. The only person kind enough to care or assist us in any way was Hue at 3am who brought us towels, cookies and reassurance that he is doing everything he can. Everyone else has told me someone will get back to me or some other excuse that they can't do anything. This weekend getaway turned into nothing but a headache. Even after we were told we could have a late check out of 2pm due to the inconveniences, a manager still came knocking at our door to have us leave, and housekeeping didn't even knock before walking in on me naked when I said I would be before 2pm. This has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. The only reason they are not getting zero stars is because of Hue and the location of the hotel and how convenient it was to get out of there.

"A comfortable, clean place good for a short stay."

The place fit the bill for what we were looking for; a comfortable bed after a late-day wedding that took place nearby.

It was a bit pricey, but everything was a bit pricey in the middle of the summer.

The location was perfect for my needs. Staff was friendly. The room was clean.
