The DoubleTree Rockland is conveniently located. The staff is friendly, the beds are comfortable and the facility is very clean.

Good location for our family reunion easy access to everything.

July 18th, 19th, 20th 2025 Wedding Party for 14 rooms We booked these rooms months in advance with Derek and the week before finalized all of them. Some of the rooms were promised for early check in if available. We called the day of check in and they said they were ready at 1:30 pm. We drove all the way over and 1 room was ready. Tierra whom was professional and very nice tried to move the rooms around but it did not happen. At 3:20 pm the rooms were still not ready. The bride and groom and mother of the bride were switched to 2 double queen bed rooms. Yes I said the bride and groom had 2 queen beds. We checked in the the bathroom floor had not been mopped with hair on the floor. The room had 2 lg. towels, 2 hand towels and 2 wash clothes. We tried to connect to the internet and had to use a different room number in our party as trhee of us had the same last name. THe bathroom counter top has a 6 inch peice missing, the shower curtain was frayed, phone jack outlets were over on the desk not next to the bed by the lamp, the iron did not work. We called in the morning for an iron replacment. After waiting 45 minutes I walked down to the front desk to see if I could just pick one up and they said, "NO". 20 minutes later I had an iron and I was then an hour late for an appointment. Several of our rooms called each day to have the rooms made up or at least new towels and none of it was completed. Now for $400.00 plus a night no one was happy. We were also billed for someone elses room which took several phone calls to straighten out. I would not recommend this hotel ever again. The nicest part of the stay were the employees such as Tierra and James at the front desk.

Food was sub standard

A couple of issues that made me decide I will not come back. 1) The shower floor on the edges was peeling off and looked dirty. The shower was dripping which overflowed to the floor in front of the toilet. 2) My room wasn't cleaned. I asked the front desk to have someone clean it or at least add towels. Nobody came. 3) The bureau drawer doesn't stay shut. 4) Found a big black ant in bathroom. Not sure if there were more. My favorite experience was the restaurant and bar. Both the bartender and the morning waitress were superb!
