"Good looks can be very deceiving."

We arrived at 3:30 PM to find a very confused front desk clerk. Our reserved room wasn't ready. We sat and waited for 20 minutes. The clerk finally told us that the room had been ready all along. The room had been serviced yesterday and never "released" back into service. What had not been services was the elevator. One was stuck on the second floor. The other had a severe mechanical issue that cause something to grind LOUDLY every time it moved. It sounded like a contractor was using a hammer drill to cut a hole in the concrete wall. The volume was about the same level as someone shouting in an argument - and that was on the inside of our room. There was no way that we could ever have slept in there with that kind of noise. Worse, there was a wedding there. All those people were going to face the same issue. To top it off, the ice machine was broken and the TV had no signal. I asked for the manager to call me. After waiting for a call and not receiving one, I reserved a room at the Best Western next door. I passed him at the elevator as we were leaving. He was dismissive and obviously seriously ticked off at the situation. No hint of "sorry you had this experience". No apology, no promise to refund our stay. I stay in a LOT of Hilton properties. I don't think I have ever been this disappointed in one before.

"Leaves a lot to be desired."

Unfortunately from beginning to end this stay disappointed. Checked in around 7pm and waited close to 30 minutes as digital check-in when unavailable and the front desk had a line. Had dinner at the Conrad restaurant and the food was top notch. High recommend. However, the credit card machine was broken and transactions had to be processed at the front desk. The bathroom shower curtain was soiled and needed to be replaced. Nasty. Also, no actual body soap was in the bathroom. Two bottles of shampoo and conditioning were available.
