Housekeeper was very accommodating. She brought us a coffee maker because ours was not working and left us a nice note! She also restocked our towels.

When we checked in the hotel was under construction on the outside. They were painting. The fumes were in the hotel. The room itself was dirty. There were bugs in the room also. The pool and gym were also closed. None of this was mentioned when booking the hotel. I’m glad they issued a refund.

We pulled up to a building covered in plastic tarp with construction vehicles taking up half the parking lot. I thought the hotel must be closed, because how could you run a business under these conditions? It was, in fact, open, but when we got to our room, we realized the hotel should have closed until renovations were complete. The room was dank, musty, and smelly. There was rust and mold in the bathroom. The sheets were dingy, the carpets dirty, and the furniture stained. It was gross. We couldn’t stay there, but the guy at the front desk said he wasn’t authorized to give me a refund. He gave me his manager’s email, so I’m waiting to see what she says.

We could only watch a few channels - the Directv wasn’t working The A/C and heat wasn’t working properly - we were either too cold or too hot Not the greatest breakfast for a Fairfield
