Quality Inn & Suites Sturgeon Bay

The description on Hotels.com was inaccurate. I says that there are two pools, one indoor and one outdoors. There is no outdoor pool and the indoor one is closed for “construction”. But nobody was working on it for the three days we were there. If we had been traveling with children, we would have gone elsewhere. Speaking of going elsewhere, the free breakfast was so bad that after the first day, we skipped it and paid to go to out for breakfast. Finally, there was no hot water in the bathroom sink. Fortunately, the shower worked. I gave it three stars because the room itself and the beds were comfortable and we only went to the room to sleep.

The pool was closed . This wasn't mentioned when I booked the stay. The breakfast food wasn't very good with limited selections

The worst hotel I’ve seen in my life. This place needs to be condemned. Everything is broken. The carpets are all ripped and stained. The place reeks of cigarette smoke. The pool has been abandoned for years. Broken elevator. Sheets all covered in stains. All furniture all broken. Walls covered in nicks and mini holes. Oh and bed bugs!!!!

From the front door of lobby to rooms carpeting filthy. Chunks of baseboard laying on floor electric outlets loose First room second floor lights not working. Bed looked like someone had been laying on it run down inside and out no working elevator i have disability. Pool not working. Staff rude was angry we complained. I would never!! Stay at one of these again given a room on first floor bathroom clean but back door had to be forced to close and lock terrible and way over priced

Three problems, no hot water in bathroom sink, poor lighting and coffee maker needs to be replace. No deal killers, but things that need to address. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The pool was not listed as under construction and picking this hotel because it had a pool in the first place, was upsetting to get there and find out it was not open.

Dirty and noisy ac

Check-in process was very easy since we booked with Expedia. However, front desk was rude about that. After the initial meet and greet and situations with checking in, we saw zero staff at the hotel. There is a pool however the pool is completely empty. I had a really hard time trying to get comfortable at this hotel. The maintenance on this hotel is lacking. Carpets are dirty, chairs have paint on them and cushions look to be falling off, bathroom walls have blobs of paint, and furniture is scratched. But the worst part was the smell. Overwhelming smell of mildew. We were on a ground level that had a window that could open. Despite safety concerns I had to open the window to even breathe. I am from the country and deal with terrible smells all the time, but this was not good. We still stayed the night due to all hotels being booked in the area. My nose is plugged this morning as I’m writing this review. When I woke up, I took a shower and the water was hot. Bathroom was clean, but the water pressure was so low. I couldn’t even get the soap out of my thin hair for several minutes. I’ve definitely stayed at worse, but I would never stay here again.
