Pear Tree Inn St Louis Convention Center

Facility was convenient, clean and well-appointed.

The desk clerk did not recommend any restaurants. Also, staff seemed very concerned about security, which made me concerned about safety.

Breakfast was good, staff friendly. Check in process easy. Parking rate, reasonable. Location was fantastic

Could have bacon on breakfast buffet. Room 630 did not have any air flowing in the bedroom and it was warm.

Staff was great. Free drinks were nice.

Lot of extra fees not mentioned on booking.com. Was originally told parking was free but got charged 19 per night. Only received two free drink cards when I booked a room for 3 people.

Security for staff and guests requiring keycard to enter. Secured parking & reasonable daily parking charge.; Happy hour for drinks, snack & free popcorn (we didn’t eat but our kids did and enjoyed it).; Breakfast included.; staff: friendly, professional, helpful answering questions. ; Room: 2 entry doors for elevators & then access to interior area of pool and buffet area, water pressure and updated shower-head. walkable to Arch and ballpark feeling safe during the day. couple eateries and Blues museum nearby. ; Pics online do NOT match actuality-esp pics of room which was disappointing/frustrating.

Cons: only 2% milk offered at breakfast, limited choices, powdered egg mix for scrambled egg option (watery, grainy, and not top quality); lack of variety for happy hr snack limiting options for people lactose intolerant or unable to eat gluten. no healthy option (eg., fruit). ; Room: slow draining sink/clogged?; stained curtains, toilet was used!-not flushed when we entered room for first time (gross!), dated, no fan in bathroom, no floor mat/towel and no extra towel to then use to step onto after shower, doorjam broken in bathroom showing dated decor, fan/vent LOUD turning on/off causing sleep disturbances throughout the night, stuffy air/air quality in room. Thin walls so luckily no plans to sleep past 8am this trip. ; limited eatery options esp being near a convention center.

The place met me and my son's needs entirely.

Happy Hour started too late; should be 3-5 instead of 5-7. By 5:00 we were on our way to dinner/event (ballgame). Bacon for B-fast should be added. Otherwise, all needs met.
