Staff have an attitude, room key desensitized 5 times then we were locked out of our room security had to call maintenance techs to fix the door which weren’t able to and had to move rooms. Had requested joining rooms didn’t happen said they were sold out although I had asked in advance but when their door needed maintenance all of a sudden there were rooms available to move us too. Then at 10 pm we had sheriffs knocking on the door for being “loud” yet our next door guests were loud at 2:30 to 5 am. I don’t know if it is new management now but this place was great before.

The property is walking distance to restaurants and shops.

My husband and I reserved our room with the expectation of having a lake view as advertised in the website. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that the room barely has a view of the water and instead mostly overlooks a neighbors garages and carport. The way the room was advertised is very misleading. Additionally, I had an uncomfortable and unprofessional experience during check-in. I was standing behind another guest while waiting for my turn, as it was not clear where the line began. As soon as the receptionist finished assisting the guest ahead of me, he called two women standing beside the counter and said “next,” completely ignoring that I had been waiting there. I politely said, “I’m sorry, I was here before them,” to which he responded in a dismissive tone, “Well, the line started there,” while pointing to the stand. I then asked if he wanted me to move over and line up there. The two women who had been called forward kindly stated that I should go first since I had already been waiting. The receptionist’s demeanor was cold, dismissive, and unwelcoming, which made the interaction very uncomfortable and embarrassing. What was particularly troubling was that when my Caucasian husband approached him afterward with a question, the receptionist’s tone and attitude noticeably changed and became much more accommodating. This experience left us feeling extremely uncomfortable and disappointed with the level of service we received. We hope management will take this matter seriously and address both the misleading room advertisement and the unprofessional behavior we experienced at check-in.
