Ramilton Old Town Hostel

I had a fantastic experience staying at this hostel! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help.

The price is very managable and the staff is friendly. The location could not be better as it is located right in the heart of old town and the most tourist focused service providers in town.

The floor is completely made from ceramic tiles. This means you will bring water (snow) inside and make everything dirty right up till your room wether you want so or not. The bathroom is as professionally built as macaroni art. The prices are actually so low that a lot of the guests are so permanent they act towards others as if you're intruding their home. This is one of those cases where the owners of the hostel have made the managers work impossible.

Old city hostel but that is actually also a negative. There are simply no decent supermarkets close by. Old City has a lot of tourist traps and is notoriously expensive. They could have done a better job bringing some charm to the place.

Cleaning, kitchen, beds, toilets and showers are sub par for course. The 100 sek for bedsheets is nothing less than a scam and brings a 40% increase to the price for a one night stay and you will only stay here one night if you have a choice. For some reason, kitchen and TV-room closes overnight and confines guests to their rooms until morning..

You had to pay for everything, including sheets and towels that weren't mentioned in the description. Also, the rooms didn't have any windows, which made me feel claustrophobic. The floor was a bit dirty and you couldn't even have fresh air even if some random guy released some toxic gas in the room.
