Holiday Inn Express Lynchburg by IHG

Kudos for excellent customer service! LaChelle & Shana were friendly & efficient, smiling & helpful. Attitude is everything and they were wonderful !!! Welcome bag of doggie treats included Milk Bone dog biscuits & a squeaky toy :-D. My room was clean & comfortable w/fridge/micro & in-room coffee. Nice linens, comfortable bed. Well tended continental breakfast included standard hot & cold items plus REAL OATMEAL which I really appreciated (rather than the sugary instant...). A good value & I'd happily stay here again :-)

The most impressive aspect of this hotel was the staff. Chn-tell (I believe was her name) at the front desk was such a wonderful, welcoming young lady. I know that can be said about many people but she was different. Her kindness was sincere, not a necessity expected of a worker. We had been spent the day walking in rain and a long car trip. We were tired so her welcoming appearance and her warm greeting and determination to make the check-in process and access to our room quick, well, it was above par. I cannot overstate how truly wonderful this young lady was to us. It makes such a difference in a long day. I recommend HI give her a bonus or a raise! The lady who was in charge of the breakfast the next morning was also a welcomed change from the other hotel hostesses we had experience in other cities for the week. She worked attentively to keep the breakfast items stocked and fresh and she also laughed along with me when I couldn't find what I was looking for that was right under my nose! She was a delight.
