Eagle Cottages & The Cabins at Gulf State Park

Everything..the cottage was perfect for relaxing enjoying family time an fishing on the pier. It was convientantly located to stores ..food..an the beach all with the fresh water lake also made it perfect.

Loved the space and the view was fantastic

A smart tv would be better than cable. We have a lot of streaming services that we would have like to have used but couldn't and could find very little to watch on the tv. The house smelled a little musty and stale and the floors were extremely dirty. It honestly needs mopped several times

It’s beautiful

They put us in the wrong cabin and we had to stay one night and then they moved us the next day. They were going to try to move us to a cabin on the water until I complained and then we finally got in correct cabin.

The whole reason why we booked these cabins was to get away from the busyness of spring break and kind of have a camping experience. I ordered groceries to be delivered with things like marshmallows to roast and s’mores to make and steaks to grill. When we got there, I asked where the fire pit and the grill was. They said they were reseeding the grass(which they never mentioned) and couldn’t put the fire pit out. I have no idea why the grill wasn’t there. I wasted all the money on the groceries and couldn’t even use them.

Location gives you both camping and the beach!

Beds were a little uncomfortable but staff was quick to bring me a padded mattress cover. Grass cutters started a little early for vacationers
