"Fantastic - bright, spacious apartment in a perfect location, close to town with views of the Douro"

Everything was super smooth and easy. The check-in and check-out process were seamless. The location was excellent - just a few streets away from bars and restaurants. The apartment itself was huge! A massive living space, kitchen and toilet downstairs and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. We also loved the view of the Douro from the living room.

The kitchen was quite sparsely equipped; it would have been useful to have things like a wooden spoon, more pans (since there were just two massive saucepans and a frying pan) and basics such as olive oil, salt and pepper. It was also a bit chilly downstairs, as it's a big space and the electric heater only provides localised heat.

The view

Not clean- filthy windows which we had to clean ourselves, dirty sofa. Not warm- the air conditioners did not work properly.Lack of basics in the kitchen and bathroom such as w- up liquid, salt pepper.soap etc.
