Bed in Girona

The location was great for exploring the old city. The path to the train stations were fairly simple and not too far. The receptionist Marco was friendly and helpful. I appreciated they could keep my luggage during the day after checking out.

It's an old building over 130+ years and it would be good if they invest in modernising facilities like power sockets and beds to improve overall comfort of the guests. The door lock of the female dorm room was VERY stiff and tricky to open. There were a weird old lady who seemed to live long-term in the room (the storage locker/shelf in the room was full of unorganised personal items), she went nuts yelling at me when I finally could open the door after some struggle. Some loud noise outside the street during the night, also snoring and loud coughing of this mad old lady.

Breakfast was sufficient and might be what scored highest in my review in comparison. The receptionist did his best to answer my questions even though English is hard for him. There was a balcony in the room with one chair shared btw 2 rooms.

Was in a female only room but a guy snuck in from 12am-1am and slepted in the room…. There was 2 bathrooms on the floor. One tub didn’t drain and the other made a very loud noise the whole time. Only one bathroom had hand soap but on the 2nd night none of them had in either floors. There was a kitchen but lacked utensils like a spoons and fork. Not the cleanest looking kitchen and didn’t have a microwave . The pictures made it look nicer than it is as a lot of the furniture is pretty beaten down. Not a very social place and people really kept to themselves . Saw one small roach in the kitchen on my last day. Small lockers. No individual light/lamp just the one for the whole room. Bed pretty thin as I can feel the wood planks underneath; not that comfortable.

Breakfast!!! Super cool, it was so nice, to have everything! Juice, coffe, milk, cheese, meat, croissants, tea, bread, toaster! Beautiful view, street. Everything is clean - bedsheets was cleen. You have lookers in the room

At night around 1am to womans room came a man!!! He opened the door with a key, and went to sleep to bed of one girl!!! He took her bed - even he saw the clothers on bed - and blanket and everything. Door to room opens very noisy! Please do smth with this!! So I heard when smbdy came at 1am. But I did not saw his face well. But at 2 am came the girl - the owner of the bed that took the man!! And she was need to fix this situation during the night, and sleep on the same bedsheets after the man. It was womans room. I was expect to stay with womans.It is crazy situation in many ways to see. Bed is also noisy. And door to the bathroom. Position of the beds not comfy, but for one night it can bee oke.

The bathrooms were filthy - a scum of short and curlies caked on the tub. I dont think the cleaning person had any training - she hung out in the bedrooms at 9am when people were trying to change, pack, rest. Walking on the beds with dirty shoes.

Good location

Not clean, no ambiance, shower floods, check-in strange, no outlets by beds, no soap, kitchen didn’t have much & wasn’t clean.
