Bed in Girona

My bed was big for one person and could’ve slept well. Also late check in was life saver after flight into Girona airport.

The water in the shower didn’t go well and glass wasn’t fixed well. The noise from outside could be heard in the night.

Cold shower, nowhere to hang your clothes and noise from the street at night.

Very shabby bathrooms. The place is cheap for a big city but expensive for the state of the place. A 4pm check in is very late but it's because the member of staff is on his break.

Location

1. Terrace was unusable as it was locked. 2. Toilet was cold due to broken window. 3. No hot water during my stay in winter month of February for 1 week. 4. Infrequent cleaning of room and toilet with rare refill of toilet paper. 5. Room has 6 beds but only 3 electrical outlets for charging. 6. Shower head broken and leaked a lot at the joint during use. 7. Ancient Room heater constantly leaks and wet the floor due to poor maintenance. 8. I noticed owner locked up the breakfast room 1 minute before closing time and caused a very angry and hungry male to slam the door with such great force that the whole building shook as he left the premises. 9. The owner complained about me wetting the floor when I showered when it’s obvious the water will fall out of the shower tray as there is no shower curtain and the panel preventing water falling out only covers 1/3 of the shower tray and the rubber seal is falling out in another shower place.

Good location.

1) Very impolite and rude guy on the reception. 2) Dirty kitchen and problems with hot water, it was not comfortable to wash, it was too cold usually. 3) Non-working soap dispensers in shower. 4) Breakfast was also not very varied. 5) Only one outlet with an extension cord for the entire room. No outlets near the beds. 6) Overall, the whole hostel is quite cold.
