Citybreak-apartments Sao Bento

The apartment was very clean and spacious and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils needed to cook. The location was perfect, right behind the Sao Bento train station, perfect if you are visiting Aveiro or Coimbra, also close to the main attractions.

The room was a bit noisy in the evenings, there is a bar directly below and patrons can get rowdy, otherwise no issue.

Location, spacious, good bed and great shower.

Nice bright apartments, walking distance to most places.

Balcony is narrow but nice to stand out on and watch people, the balcony on 3rd floor is wider and can accommodate chairs.

The location of the property was excellent

4 flights of stairs to the room was very hard for me

Amazing location, we walked everywhere, could even see the Sao Bento train station from the bedroom window. Loved the 3 big windows with the balconies. The washer and the dishwasher were nice to have although the soap was not included. Great big shower with lots of water pressure, never ran out of hot water. Easy self check in.

The beds and pillows were not the most comfortable, but for the price, we didn’t mind too much! The kitchen was not too well equipped but we were able to cook breakfast every morning.

The location was great. We needed to leave our car in a parking station as there is no parking on the street. Walking around Porto is easy enough even though it is steep. Getting into the Apartment was easy, communication with the host was great.

We were on the top floor which was a really steep climb & so hard to get our suitcases up the stairs. Ok if you are young & just have backpacks or small suitcases but we really struggled with the stairs.

Very welcoming and efficient hosts especially regarding access to the apartment. They had offered us space for our bags at their nearby offices since our train was arriving before the apartment would be ready. At the last minute they let us know that the place was ready and we could go right there.

The apartment is spacious and simply furnished with all we needed. The bed is comfortable. Location is excellent! The remote for the tv wasn’t working and the staff responded swiftly.

A serrated knife to cut bread would be great! A very small negative!
