Tru By Hilton Cleveland Midtown

We verbleven hier drie nachten voor de Supercross in Cleveland en waren zeer tevreden over ons verblijf. De locatie is ideaal, met een zeer goede busverbinding naar de stad. Door een vertraging van ons vliegtuig in Minneapolis misten we onze aansluitende vlucht naar Cleveland en kwamen we pas na middernacht aan. Gelukkig konden we nog tot 2 uur ’s nachts inchecken en werden we bijzonder vriendelijk ontvangen, wat meteen een goede eerste indruk gaf. Het ontbijt was inbegrepen en bood een gevarieerd aanbod van verse en lekkere producten. De kamers waren proper, werden dagelijks schoongemaakt en het personeel was steeds vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom: een echte aanrader!

Definitely a budget hotel that seems to target a younger demographic. No in room microwave or coffee machine. No pool. No restaurant. Seem to be in an odd location. But, the parking lot was full so lots of people stayojere.

Shortly before arriving, I received a phone call from the hotel. Telling me that I lost my reservation and that they were overbooked. I told him that was impossible since I booked several weeks ago. The staff looked into the situation and said that yes, I could stay somewhat else would have to lose their room.!!!

Very little. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The best part of our stay here was leaving.

No blackout shade on the window! It had been removed so we essentially had no night time privacy. Not only that but, as a result of no shade, the glaring lights in the parking lot illuminated our room so much that my wife had to build a pillow barrier in an attempt to keep the light out of her face while trying to sleep! How could they rent a room to us in this condition? When we told the front desk woman about this, she merely said "oh yeah, they are redoing the shades in some rooms." Then why in the hell did you put us in this room????!!!! We couldn't change rooms because then there would have been just one bed and my wife was sick. The HVAC system in the room is LOUD. We both had a terrible nights sleep. This is probably the worst accommodations we have had in many years. Not only we will never patronize a Hilton Tru hotel again, I am going to let everyone I know what an awful experience this was and perhaps write a few reviews online to spread the word of our "wonderful" experience there. Hilton should be ashamed.

Tv didn’t work, bathroom drain was slow,
