Toilets had no toilet paper and seat were Broken,didn’t know about the very steep stairs. Also room keys didn’t work twice I had to go back and change them !!!

Room needed updating .mold in bathroom paint peeling on ceiling in bedroom

Breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful

Small room and bathroom facilities not good. No plugs in either bath or shower. Soap and shampoo dispensers didn’t work. No or broken extractor fan and no window. No cold water to the shower. Shower rail partly broken

Evening meal was very Good

Very good food and lovely host. Very central location in Brecon with access to the high street and restaurants. The hotel made provision for our elderly father by siting him in a ground-floor room with a shower.

The hotel is lovely, but needs a coat of paint! The staff were short-handed as a result of internal issues, so felt very sorry for the manager on duty who had to work extra shifts, on his day off. Hopefully you'll find new staff! There were also engineering works going on right outside the hotel, but that was not in the hotel's control!

Breakfast was a good choice and nice to have fresh fruit available. Staff member at breakfast was helpful.

The room was not good at all. There is a large gap of about 1 inch at the bottom of the door meaning lights streams in. There is a hole in the glass window, filled with a piece of tissue. The leather headboard is terrible, the leather is peeling of where people have lent back on it and needs replacing. There was plaster on the bathroom floor and in the bath that had fallen off the wall. Parking was not good as long stay is quite a walk away.

Clean, central location, easy to find, good bar and food downstairs.
