We had a lovely warm welcome when we arrived at Desirès. The hosts are extremely nice and gave us a lot of tips and recommendations of what to do and where to eat nearby. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance, and the famous street food market is also not far away. It was a great and unique experience to stay on a houseboat for two nights - I would definitely do this again and recommend this place 100%!

An absolutely wonderful experience! The houseboat owner is incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming – you feel right at home from the very beginning. She has truly thought of every detail to make the stay as comfortable as possible. The houseboat itself is simply stunning! Not only is it beautifully decorated, but it’s also incredibly cozy and comfortable. The interior creates such a warm, inviting atmosphere that you instantly feel at ease. A perfect place to relax and enjoy!

Desira was perfect for our 4 night stay . Great safe location close to bars and restaurants and a short walk in to town . Martina has been a great host . She provided detailed information and recommendations. We booked a trip out on another of her boats and highly recommend the trip she organised . Desira was comfortable , clean and well equipped .

I can’t fault the boat . It was just what we expected.

It’s warm and inviting, clean, and comfortable. The location is phenomenal. The boat is quiet, peaceful, and safe yet a short walk away from everything Palermo has to offer. The pictures are great but still can’t do it justice for how much space there actually is on board. Can’t recommend enough.

It perfect. There’s nothing negative to say.

Wonderful host! Martina has exceptional skills to make her guests feel welcome and comfortable! It was a unique experience to stay on the boat. Though small space we could find everything we needed on the boat. The location was perfect.
