The energy of this place is out of this world. You wake up to a view that feels like a dream. Then you go for breakfast and meet the kind local Balinese people, still unspoiled by tourism and money. Their strong faith in the gods they pray to surrounds you with a special energy that you can feel in your heart.

The location is really beautiful with stunning vistas on each side. The family running the accommodation are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The place is a perfect little peaceful retreat in nature and very close to a lot of the waterfalls and other tourist attractions of north Bali.

Simple and effective... Perfect to relax at low budget with an amazing view and friendly staff. Far away from the tourists trap..

The view is undeniably amazing and the huts are cute (although not great for tall people). The beds are surprisingly relatively comfortable, wifi was good in 1 room but bad in the other. The staff (1 family) are kind but their English is limited. It's a good location for Aling Aling waterfalls and Cemara waterfalls for the most adventurous. Other than that there isn't much else to do in walking distance.

Let's start with the rooms. They only have 2 power points so once the fridge and the 1 bedside lamps are in, that's it... They are definitely not bug proof with big gaps on the walls. Our children even had a rat in theirs on the last evening! The bathrooms are very basics and everything is a bit wonky. The advertised restaurant is non existent. Our breakfast was very basic. Although the staff is very kind, they have limited means. We had to get takeaways for our dinners as the place is isolated and they don't serve dinner. They don't provide water (except a tiny bottle on arrival). So we had to get our own or buy it from them We shortened our stay by 1 night and the owner was not interested in reimbursing that night, even partially. 2 nights were enough. We have seen other places at similar price points where all of the above was addressed.

The view is just out of this world. You can watch sunrise from your bed and the colors of sunset are like nowhere else. It´s really simple, quiet and beautiful. Yes, it is a bit far from everything if you don´t have a scooter / car. There is no public transport and each walk to supermarket/restaurant takes a steep uphill way back. On the other hand, they cook in the place so you can always stay there. We considered it a real retreat. Along with really close aling aling waterfall, you can also do a beautiful half-day hike from there to 3 other beautiful waterfalls.

The customer service is exceptional. The views from the hotel room and restaurant are amazing. It's located very close to a lot of waterfalls. The room has AC. The food is good!
