D'kailash Retreat

We enjoyed our 7 nights here. The room is traditional The views of the sunrise over the valley is breathtaking. The room was comfy with fridge and aircon. The location is remote but we either walked the very steep hill to the village (20min) or to the river/waterfall past the rice fields up the mountain (20 min) or caught a taxi organised by our hosts at a fair price. We were spoilt each morning with a delicious vegan Bali breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The staff was very kind and super helpful. The view was nice. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

The breakfast / food options were quite limited, especially in the beverage / coffee department. It generally wasn't a problem though since there were restaurants so closeby.

Excellent in every way. The view from the room was gorgeous and it was so relaxing to sleep to the sound of the local streams and waterfalls. The hosts were kind and super helpful

The staff here were so kind and were there to help whenever I needed anything. The views from the room were spectacular and perfect to watch the sunrise. The bathroom was good, and I had a fridge and kettle in the room. The bed was super comfy. The staff changed my sheets when I had ants come in!

Would be nice to have somewhere comfortable to chill out rather than the bed, such as sofas or deck chairs. Had to get a scooter around but that’s a given in this area.

Beutiful location, quiet and serene. Beach is 20 mins away so you get the beat of both worlds. Perfect for a couple. We had great weather so was no problem even with our 4yr old. But might be a challenge otherwise. The family that runs the place is amazing. Always smiling and very welcoming and accommodating. They always talked to our son and even serves us the fruits he liked. We loved our stay there.

The room we were in was a bit tight due to the slanted roof. Maybe our room is not ideal for tall or big people.

The sunrise view was stunning, overlooking the rice fields and the hills. Really lovely quiet place, romantic and the owners are so lovely. They have a pool table, so you can play a game :) Super convenient that they cook there as well, you can have it all in one place.

Great location, quiet place. In retreat you can find a cafe (warung) with tasty food for a good price. Amazing view from our room.

Sometimes about 8 a m near retreat some of the neighbors turned on loud music.
