Good location, friendly staff, modern comfortable rooms and food served in the restaurant is very good.

No toilet paper in room on available but quickly resolved by staff with no issues.

The beds were very comfortable and big. The bathroom was very modern and lovely. Staff were accommodating and was able to offer help that we needed.

Would have been nice to have breakfast in the cost as it was slightly expensive just for 1 night.

Staff were lovely

Unfortunately, my experience was far from comfortable. The shower temperature was scalding hot with no way to adjust it, making it nearly unusable. The bathroom had an automatic light sensor that kept turning off while in use – very frustrating. The room itself was extremely hot, with no proper ventilation or way to cool it down. There was a bright light outside the front window all night, which made it hard to sleep, and the doors in the building were very noisy – constantly slamming. Cleanliness was also an issue: hairs were found all over the room, and although the room was “cleaned,” the bedsheets were clearly not changed – just remade. To make things worse, the bathroom door didn’t even close properly. I stayed in Room 2, and based on our experience, we won’t be returning. Definitely not worth the price.

Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure.

Don’t let the the outside fool you. Inside the rooms are very well done and spotless. Breakfast was tasty, well cooked and hot. Coffee was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the allow dogs.
